The struggle of the a transgender person The media in South Africa doesn’t really report on anything in the transgender or LGBT community, unless it has to deal with someone important, for example having Pope Francis on the cover of your magazine or newspaper. Transgender people are dying every day, due to many reasons, just to name a few; depression and murder. Are these innocent people different from us “normal” people? Do they deserve to live? The dangers of being trans Many transgender/ LGBT people are being rejected from job interviews, churches and many other places. Which is very wrong. They deserve to be treated the same way the next person who is considered “normal” is being treated. As they are normal, they are human beings as well. They not some alien who decided to live on planet earth! The society needs to come right.
